A complete set of five includes the double roller stripper guide\u003cbr\u003e\nand two each of the two super heavy duty single-roller guides, graduated in size. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur Big Foot Super Heavy Duty SHD roller tip-tops are a perfect match for these guides.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade in the U.S.A.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHOW TO MAINTAIN AFTCO ROLLER GUIDES\u003cbr\u003e\nTo keep your rollers turning freely, always flush the entire guide (and tip-top) with fresh water each time you return to the dock.\u003cbr\u003e\nThis will wash away the saltwater residue that can buildup between the roller and frame, and is all the short-term maintenance\u003cbr\u003e\nrequired to assure that your roller guides will perform perfectly. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo not attempt to lubricate AFTCO roller guides with spray lubricants, as these chemical solvents will actually gum up the rollers\u003cbr\u003e\nand ultimately hinder their performance. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInstead, we recommend a waterproof grease – such as Penn’s® Blue International Lube – to be applied sparingly to the outsides of the bearings.\u003cbr\u003e\nAFTCO recommends that every year or two your roller guides and tops should be disassembled, cleaned and lubricated.\u003cbr\u003e\nAfter removing the pins and screws (using a #2 standard screwdriver on each side of the guide or top), all parts,\u003cbr\u003e\nincluding the inside of the frame, should be wiped clean with paper towels using a mild solvent or thinner.\u003cbr\u003e\nThen, lubricate the outside of the bearing (black) with a small amount of waterproof grease (not oil) before pushing it back into the roller.\u003cbr\u003e\nFinally, center the pins and screws and thoroughly tighten with the screwdriver.
