NOTE: The attached International Ratings Chart works on 'external' angles.
New Zealand uses 'internal' angels so multi-leg ratings 0-45 is 90 Degrees [Factor 2.1]
A 60 degree 2 leg sling example; If the weight of the load to be lifted is 20 tonnes and the angle between the legs of a two-legged sling is 60 degrees. This means that the load factor is 1.7 for the angle.
Based upon this example, the 3 and 4 Leg Load Factor would be 2.6
The Following Must Be Adhered To

- Do not pull from under loads that are resting on the sling
- Do not repair any damaged sling
- Do not store in chemically active areas, under ultraviolet light or near heat.
- Always protect from sharp edges and corners or abrasive surfaces
- Always inspect before each use
- Always ensure the correct sling is being used for the application
TOLERANCE;
By AS4497.1, Roundslings shall have an accuracy of more/less than 3 percent of the nominal length expressed in metres.
