Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Action Outdoors Ltd, we’re committed to getting your order to you quickly, securely, and in perfect condition. Please review the information below to understand our shipping timeframes and delivery terms.


1. Local Courier (From Rosebank Road Shop) within NZ

  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.

  • Rural Address and PO box numbers, please add business 2 days.

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information.

  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
  • These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to sales@actionoutdoors.kiwi or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

IN STORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
  • Collection can be made during opening hours at
     348 Rosebank Rd, Avondale, Auckland

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!

2. Orders Sent Directly from NZ Suppliers within NZ

  • Delivery Time: 4–11 working days (varies by supplier)

  • Tracking: Available on request after 3 working days


3. Bulk or Heavy Orders (Over 25 kg)

  • Delivery Time: 3–5 working days

  • Rural Delivery: Not available for bulk shipments

  • Oversized packages must be sent to a main-town address or the nearest main-town depot. Please email sales@actionoutdoors.kiwi for a shipping quote

4. Practical takeaway (especially for retailers)

Once an ATL is signed:

  • Loss or damage after delivery is usually the customer’s responsibility
  • Retailers are not automatically required to refund or replace
  • Goodwill remedies are optional, not legally required

Best practice:

  • Keep ATL records
  • Use delivery photos where possible
  • Clearly state ATL risk transfer in T&Cs

5. Products Shipped from China

  • Delivery Time: 7–45 days

6. Steens Raw Manuka Honey Products

All of our honey is packed at our RMP registered purpose built facility in Masterton, New Zealand. Once the honey is packed we ship it directly to one of our 4 warehouses (UK, NL, USA, NZ) to be dispatched to you - so it is as fresh as possible.

We intend to pack and dispatch all orders within 2 business days of receiving your order.

NB -  USA orders are shipped using Amazon’s FBA service which means orders of multiple jars can come in more than one delivery.

Order Processing Times

  • Orders are usually processed within 24–48 hours of being placed.

  • Orders received after 1:00 pm are processed on the next business day.

  • We use Courier Post, Poste Haste, or Castle Parcels for domestic deliveries. For rural addresses, a third-party carrier may be used.

  • Mainfreight handles bulk shipments over 25 kg.

  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).


Delivery Timeframes & Conditions

Delivery timeframes are provided as best estimates and are not a guarantee.

  • We cannot accept claims for late delivery, regardless of the reason.

  • Late delivery does not constitute a breach of contract, and orders cannot be cancelled on this basis.

  • Delivery times may be affected by statutory holidays, during which couriers do not operate.


Signature Requirement

For security, all goods are sent “Signature Required.”

If you prefer delivery without a signature, you must contact the courier or freight company directly to complete and sign an Authority to Leave form. This will transfer responsibility for the parcel to you once it is delivered.


Quality Control & Inspection on Delivery

Every order is carefully checked before leaving our premises to ensure it’s in pristine condition.

On delivery, please inspect your order before signing. If you notice any damage to the packaging, make sure to note this on the driver’s run sheet or consignment note.


Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, we will lodge and manage a claim with the transport company on your behalf promptly and professionally.
