This King split base is New Zealand made from upholstered NZ pine, with four drawers, two on each side, for a serious amount of under-bed storage. Because it comes as a two piece split base, it is a far easier bed to get up narrow staircases and through tight doorways than a one piece King. It arrives fully assembled in high quality black fabric, so all that is left is screwing in the feet by hand.
