This product is a substance applied to the surface of a mould or casting pattern to prevent the material being cast from sticking to the mould. It allows for easy separation of the cast part from the mold without causing damage to either the mould or the cast material. 

Designed to prevent lamination of the product to the mould and preventing the mechanical or chemical bonding of the moulded material to the surface of the mould.

PVA is a film-forming solution, which places a positive barrier between the mould and the product or component. PVA may be used on smooth, hard surfaces or on other surfaces in tandem with wax style mould releases such as APW Mould Release Agent Wax.
