The Spring Source SS-DA29-00020B is a compatible replacement for the Samsung DA29-00020B fridge water filter, used in many Samsung French door and side-by-side fridges. Samsung doesn't make it. Check the code on your current filter first: it should read DA29-00020B or HAF-CIN, or a matching code such as EFF-6027A.
It twists into the filter compartment inside the fridge, with no tools. Spring Source lists it as certified to NSF/ANSI 42 by IAPMO for chlorine, taste and odour.
Fit a new filter every 6 months, so your water and ice keep tasting fresh. Run some water through the dispenser before use, and reset the filter light if your fridge has one.
