Wanaka Rimu Bookcase 1010mm | BroDeals New Zealand
The Wanaka Rimu Bookcase is made in New Zealand from clear Rimu, with a natural finish built up from linseed oil, shellac and wax rather than chemical coatings. At 1540mm wide and 1010mm high it gives you a broad, low run of shelving, with a fixed top shelf and an adjustable bottom shelf so you can set the spacing around books, files or display pieces.
Why It Stands Apart
- New Zealand made from clear Rimu: Solid native timber with the clean grain that gives Rimu furniture its warmth and character.
- Chemical-free finish: Linseed oil, shellac and wax only, so nothing harsh is introduced into your living space.
- Adjustable bottom shelf: Move the lower shelf to suit tall books, folders or baskets instead of working around a fixed height.
- Generous 1540mm width: A wide footprint holds far more than a standard narrow bookcase while staying low enough to sit under a window.
- Sustainable craftsmanship: Locally built timber furniture made to last decades rather than seasons.
