Invite curious tamariki to explore big, medium and small with this Montessori-inspired wooden pole puzzle.

Three smooth cylinders in graduating sizes slot into matching sockets on a sturdy, sustainably sourced timber block, encouraging pincer grasp, wrist rotation and cause-and-effect thinking.

As children decide which piece fits where, they practise descriptive language such as “bigger” and “smaller”, laying valuable groundwork for early maths while enjoying calm, tactile play.
