NZ Mullet Fishing Nets are ready to use. They are made with a lead-core bottom rope and floats on the top rope.

We recommend 1kg of anchor weight per 20m of the net at each end.
Custom-made Mullet nets have been designed to suit New Zealand regulations. They use a lead core rope that is less likely to tangle and features a 0.50mm-thick mesh that reduces bycatch and enhances your catch ratio. Combine these nets with an anchor at each end, marker floats, or buoys with your name on them, and you are ready to go fishing. These nets are designed to be long-lasting and durable, giving you more time to fish!
We have a variety of sizes available in-store, including 3-5 inch—90mm and 4-00 inch—100mm. You can also choose from a top or bottom rope style, with the top rope being 6mm with floats and the bottom rope being 6mm. Our qualified staff can help you make the right decisions for your fishing needs.
For optimal performance, it is essential to use the appropriate anchor weight and net length combination. We recommend 1kg of anchor weight per 20m of the net at each end. Additionally, our nets are made from UV-stabilised polyethylene, so you can be sure of long-lasting performance in the sun!
