WE PAINT!

Our advanced carbon technology lets the material itself shine as a design feature — yet we know colour is how a 3T bike truly expresses personality and style. That’s why we invest deeply in original graphics, premium paints, and striking, durable finishes.
Because colour shapes a bike’s identity so powerfully, we brought all painting in-house at our factory in Presezzo, Italy. Today, every 3T frame is painted in Italy.
With our in-house paint facility and the WPNT custom program, we now own the full creative process — from engineering to colour design.

REALFAST AERODYNAMICS

Aerodynamics matter off-road, too.
You feel it most when you’re not grinding uphill: on tarmac or smooth gravel, in headwinds or crosswinds. Even at moderate ground speed, your airspeed remains high — and that’s where aerodynamics make a real difference.
Primo² is also an exceptional road bike in its own right. We engineered, tested, and optimised it not only at the road-bike standard of 48 km/h (30 mph), but also at a far more realistic 32 km/h (20 mph) — typical of gravel, dirt, and singletrack speeds.
We refined our Sqaero profile through testing with knobby tyres and even frames caked in mud.

SQAERO TECHNOLOGY

Primo²’s aerodynamic advantage begins with its down tube. At 50 × 75 mm with a truncated Sqaero profile, it delivers outstanding stiffness while guiding airflow smoothly around wide front tyres.
A full airfoil from a 50 mm base would need to be 150–200 mm tall — creating excessive drag. Our truncated Sqaero shape keeps airflow attached and even shields your bottles from wind.
To deliver REALFAST performance across the whole bike, we applied the Sqaero profile to the down tube, head tube, fork, seatpost, and seat stays.

PRIMO² vs. RACEMAX, EXTREMA & ULTRA

Racemax and Extrema Italia are built around gravel-first geometries:
  • Racemax: The ultimate choice for fast gravel and racing — when every second counts.
  • Extrema Italia: Built for non-stop ultra-adventure and the world’s toughest off-road races.
  • Ultra: Combines exceptional ground clearance for extreme terrain with efficient aerodynamics.
Primo², by contrast, uses a road-inspired geometry while retaining full capability for wide tyres and wheels. Ride fast on 700c wheels, then swap to 650b with larger tyres when adventure calls.
