Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those rights.

  • Goods must be free from defects, damage, or signs of use

The following items cannot be returned for a change of mind:

  • Goods marked as “Sent from Supplier”

  • Custom-made goods or goods cut to length

  • Clearance items, unless faulty

Order Cancellations

Faulty Goods & Consumer Guarantees Act Rights

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

If a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA, which may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund (for failures of a substantial character)

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the fault and will be determined in accordance with the CGA.

Warranty Claims

If you believe a product is faulty and covered by warranty, please contact us immediately:

Email: sales@actionoutdoors.kiwi

Please include:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Description of the issue

  • Supporting photos (recommended)

If deemed a potential warranty claim, the product must be returned with a cover letter outlining the fault to:

Action Outdoors
1/348 Rosebank Road
Avondale 1026

New Zealand

Products will be assessed internally and/or by the manufacturer or distributor. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, Action Outdoors will provide a remedy consistent with the CGA.

Inspection & Visible Damage

All items are inspected prior to dispatch. Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.

  • Any visible damage or defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Failure to report within this timeframe may affect the ability to lodge a courier or insurance claim

Authority to Leave (ATL)

Where a customer authorises delivery without signature (ATL):

  • Risk transfers to the customer once the goods are delivered

  • Action Outdoors is not responsible for loss or damage occurring after delivery

  • Any remedy offered in these circumstances is discretionary and does not override CGA obligations

Store Credit Conditions

  • Store Credit is non-refundable

  • Store Credit may have an expiry date

  • Store Credit cannot be exchanged for cash
