CRESSI GARA 2000 HF

The Cressi Gara 2000 HF is the first fin in the world made by combining three different materials, a process that Cressi perfected and patented with this fin, guarantees unsurpassed performance.

The blade is made from an extremely lightweight reactive polypropylene and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted. A soft elastomer anatomically wraps around the foot,  ensuring perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust. A suitably solid copolymer firms some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade. These stringers regulate and harmonise the bending and also protect it from shocks and abrasions.

The fins are extraordinarily light compared to equivalent models of rubber footed fins and reduces the inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio.

This fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors appreciate it a great deal.

• These are single-lined, thin, 3mm, high stretch neoprene boots with a metallite-lined inner ensuring they are easy to put on.
• The sole has an effective non-slip lining.
• They can be used with both closed foot fins for greater warmth and to protect the skin from scratches and chafing, as well as with firm-soled boots, using open-heel fins. In this case, warmth is considerably increased and it is also easier to put on your wetsuit.
