If you've lifted your Jeep Cherokee XJ between 4 and 6 inches, this Rough Country CV drive shaft is pretty much a must-have. At that ride height, your factory rear drive shaft starts working at angles it was never designed for — and the result is driveline vibration, wear, and eventually a broken rear output shaft. Not ideal on the trail or the road.

This double cardan (CV-style) rear drive shaft is purpose-built to handle the steeper operating angles that come with a lifted XJ. It's twice as strong as the factory shaft and uses better quality CV joints to keep things smooth and sorted. Fits 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee 4WD models running 4–6 inches of lift.
