Care and safety

Keep a suitable air gap between the heat source and the mat, and follow your fire pit or BBQ manufacturer's clearance requirements. Heat resistance does not guarantee that grass, decking or flooring will be protected from damage. Do not place burning fuel directly on the mat. Never leave a fire unattended and allow the mat to cool before handling or folding. This mat is not a fire blanket or a substitute for fire-safety equipment.
