Trailer Safety Chain Set Comprises Of

• 1 x 2.5T Safety Chain 8mm Long Link G70

• 1 x 2.5T HDG Multi-Fit Trailer Shackle 11.7mm Pin

• 1 x Safety Chain Insert Washer to Suit M12 Bolt

• 10 Links = 445mm Overall Length incl. Shackle

Chain and Shackle has all relevant markings and safety factors required under the New Zealand LTSA Standards NZS5467

Grade 70 Transport Chain YC is imported Transport Chain with a yellow chromate finish and is made from heat-treated carbon steel.

G70 Transport Chain is for use in load binding, towing and logging. Grade 70 Chain can be used in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations.

The yellow chromate finish offers corrosion protection and allows DOT inspectors to easily determine the grade of the chain being used.

Do not use for overhead lifting.

On average, seven people a year are killed and 45 seriously injured in crashes involving a light vehicle towing a trailer e.g. caravans, as well as boat, horse and garden trailers.

Incorrect loading is a factor in around 27 light vehicle crashes a year including one death and five serious injuries.
