Slung very loose to catch maximum fish.

Designed to be used in sheltered waters. Not suitable for surf beaches, dragging, or areas with lots of oysters, shells etc.

Requires at least 1 kg of anchors per 20m of the net on each end depending on tidal conditions.

Action Fishing Nets are of the highest quality and slung mounted to catch the most amount of fish for a given length. All our set nets are slung at 50% slinging ratio e.g. 2m of mesh for every 1m of the completed fishing net.

Most imported nets are made to a price and not quality and are slung at up to 70% slinging ratio e.g. for every 2m of mesh, they make 1.4m of the completed net, therefore when comparing prices of fishing nets, keep these factors of quality in mind.
