New: myCOOLMAN Upright Dual-Zone Fridge/Freezers — 77L, 112L, 205L and 250L

Refrigeration is one of the few things on a caravan or motorhome that you notice every single day of a trip. If it runs cold, runs quietly and does not flatten your battery, you barely think about it. If it does not, the whole trip revolves around it.

We have just added four new myCOOLMAN upright dual-zone fridge/freezers to the range — 77L, 112L, 205L and 250L. They bring the cooling technology myCOOLMAN built its name on in portable fridges into a proper upright cabinet designed to be built into a canopy, caravan, camper or motorhome.

What dual zone actually means

Each cabinet has two independently controlled compartments. You set the fridge side and the freezer side separately, so you can run hard-frozen bait and meat on one side and chilled drinks and vegetables on the other — or, on the 205L and 250L, switch the 65L drawer over to fridge mode when you need more chilled space and less freezer. On the 77L and 112L the freezer compartment lifts out completely.

Fridge only, trim kit, or trim kit with internal vent?

The fridge only option is the cabinet on its own — the right choice if you are building your own cabinetry around it. The trim kit gives you a tidy factory-look finish where the fridge meets your joinery. On the 205L and 250L there is also a trim kit with internal vent option, which routes airflow through the front rather than requiring external vents in your wall — useful in builds where you cannot cut vents into the side of the vehicle. Which size do you need?

As a rough guide: the 77L suits a couple away for a weekend or a canopy build where space is tight. The 112L is the sweet spot for most caravan and camper-trailer owners doing week-long trips. The 205L and 250L are for full-time touring, families, or anyone who wants to load up once and stay out. Bear in mind that upright fridges need adequate ventilation around the compressor — check the cutout and clearance figures against your cabinetry before you commit to a size.
