Drum Winches

Drum winches are ideal for boats with limited space. Compact in design, they fit neatly inside the anchor locker and store both chain and rope on the drum. These winches are easy to install, operate, and provide reliable performance without occupying valuable deck space.

Vertical Windlasses

Vertical windlasses are a popular choice for many boat owners thanks to their sleek, low-profile design. With the gypsy (the top works) located above deck and the motor and gearbox tucked below, they minimise clutter on the foredeck while ensuring smooth, efficient retrieval of anchor chain and rope.

Horizontal Windlasses (Deck Winches)

Horizontal windlasses are mounted entirely above deck, including both gypsy and motor/gearbox. They offer a 90-degree wrap of the anchor rode around the gypsy, making them practical and secure. These models are generally easier to install and are well-suited for boats with smaller anchor lockers.
