What Does Overload Protection Mean:
Generally, any brand hoist with "Overload Protection" has a built-in safety feature to ensure the user does not overload the hoist causing it to fail and/or injure to the user..
The manufacturers set the overload engagement to around 30% to 50% ABOVE the Maximum Working Load Limit (WLL), so on a 9.0T WLL Lever Hoist the overload system would engage around 12.0T (Approx 3.0T above its WLL)
