19 sold, and no surprise. Awning ropes, shade sails, tarps over the annexe — a decent pulley makes tensioning a one-person job instead of a two-person argument. Six sizes from 13mm through to 50mm so you can match the rope you've already got. People tend to buy two or three at a time, which tells you something.

3. Trojan Jockey Wheel 200mm Solid Tyre, Swivel Type — $99.99

4 sold. Heavy duty, 350kg load rating, solid tyre so there's nothing to go flat in the shed over winter, and the swivel mount flips up out of the way for towing. Caravan and trailer owners buy these the day an old wheel collapses in a campground — usually in the rain, usually on gravel. Trojan gear is proven on New Zealand roads.

This is the workhorse behind the tap in a lot of self-contained vans and boats — 12V, self-priming, 40PSI at 17 litres a minute, which is plenty for a galley sink and a shower without hammering the battery. The big-ticket item on the list with 3 sold. A 700mm wide automatic step that slides out the moment the door opens, in anodised aluminium at only 8.5kg. It's the upgrade people make when a manual step gets tiring — older travellers, families with young kids, and anyone building a motorhome out properly.
