Made right here in Auckland by Action Fishing Nets, these nets are designed to handle the rigours of reef fishing, lagoon netting, and offshore use in warm Pacific waters. We've been manufacturing nets for the Pacific Islands for years, and we know what works.

We use heavy-duty monofilament (0.50mm to 0.70mm) that stands up to coral, sharp reef edges, and powerful tropical fish. These aren't flimsy imports — they're proper Kiwi-made nets built to last season after season.

Heavy-Duty Pacific Island Mesh

Our most popular range for the islands. Available in 2-inch, 2.5-inch, and 3-inch mesh sizes, in lengths from 20 metres right up to 100 metres. The 0.50mm and 0.60mm monofilament is strong enough for reef fish, trevally, and larger species while remaining practical to set, haul, and maintain.

• 2-inch mesh (0.60mm) — excellent for smaller reef fish and general-purpose lagoon netting. A popular choice for village fishing operations.
• 2.5-inch mesh (0.50mm–0.60mm) — the versatile all-rounder, and our most popular size across the Pacific. Great for a wide range of species.
