New Zealand Manuka Honey has long been used for medicinal and therapeutic purposes due to its powerful antibacterial properties. Alpine Silk Manuka Honey has been recognised for its healing and moisturising powers by New Zealand’s largest beauty guide, Beauty Review with a high rating of 4.6/5. 

We can guarantee genuine Manuka Honey harvested on our family honey farm in Murchison, New Zealand where the native evergreen Manuka tree grows. In summer the tree flowers strongly scented pink and white flowers, which our honey bees love.

MGO stands for methylglyoxal, the naturally occurring compound that makes Manuka Honey so unique. An MGO rating is a standardised measure of methylglyoxal content and is an indicator of quality.
