The Manson Boss features dual anchoring modes in one slotted shank. Its high-tensile steel shank is strengthened and optimised using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to achieve maximum strength and durability.
Fabricated from Lloyd’s Register certified high-tensile steel (minimum 800 MPa), the streamlined shank design is perfectly suited to powerboat fairleads and bow rollers.

A standout feature of the Boss Anchor is its Manson Shackle Preventor. This innovative system allows the anchor to transform between fixed and sliding shank modes for operation in any seabed:

The reinforced double-skinned laminated toe forms a powerful forward section that penetrates the seabed with ease. Manson uses 150-tonne presses to create a concave fluke shape, allowing the anchor to “cup” the seabed and lock in faster than traditional designs.
