Before purchasing, please read these compliance rules carefully:

• Seats must be locked forward-facing while driving — a swivelled seat is for use only when the vehicle is stationary
• Seatbelts must remain functional — NZ law requires 3-point retractor belts on driver & front passenger seats (motorhomes manufactured/converted after 1 Oct 2003)
• Single OEM seats only — swivels are designed for original manufacturer single seats, not aftermarket or double bench seats
• May affect your WoF/CoF — seat modifications can impact vehicle certification. Consult a certified vehicle inspector or LVV certifier before installation
• Airbag clearance — ensure the swivel does not interfere with side airbag deployment
• Professional installation recommended — especially if seatbelt anchorage points are affected
• Height increase — swivel bases add 44–48 mm to seat height. Check headroom and steering wheel clearance
