Milkfish is one of the most important food fish across the Pacific Islands. Our heavy-duty mesh comes in the exact sizes used by island fishermen for catching milkfish at every stage:

• 2″ – 2½″ mesh (0.60mm) — Ideal for market-size milkfish (600g–3kg). The most popular size for lagoon and reef flat gill netting in Fiji, Guam, and Tuvalu.
• 3″ – 3¼″ mesh (0.50–0.70mm) — Medium to large adult milkfish. Great all-rounder for mixed reef species.
• 3½″ – 4″ mesh (0.70mm) — Full-grown wild milkfish (5–8kg+). Heavy-duty twine handles the fight and the reef.

Unlike cheap imported nets that shred on coral after a few uses, our 0.50mm, 0.60mm, and 0.70mm heavy-duty monofilament is specifically made to last in Pacific Island conditions.
