If you've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ and you're serious about off-road recovery, a winch is a must — but you don't need to spend big on a full bumper swap to fit one. This Rough Country Winch Mounting Plate is designed specifically for the 1993–1998 ZJ and bolts straight to the factory front bumper, securing to the frame behind it for a solid, reliable mount without the big price tag.
Built from 1/4" thick steel with a weather-resistant finish and Grade 8 hardware, it's tough enough to handle real recovery situations. The universal mounting pattern means it'll suit most winches on the market, so you're not locked into one brand. Note that some bumper trimming is required during fitment — straightforward for anyone with basic fab skills or we can sort it out for you in-store.
