KiwiGrip is a revolutionary, durable, non-skid coating that spreads quickly and easily with our proprietary roller. By varying the application technique, the texture can be adjusted from a rolled
pleasure boat texture to an industrial aggressive workboat texture. As a homogeneous material, KiwiGrip doesn't suffer from the problems encountered with aggregate-based products that use sand or walnut shells; rather than wearing through and leaving an unsafe deck that's hard to clean and re-coat, our product stays intact for years.
Apply over wood, fibreglass, epoxy, concrete or metal and dial in the perfect texture for your application by varying your technique.
A 1 litre can of KiwiGrip cover about 20 square feet. A 4 litre can cover about 80 square feet.

The preparation of your surface is a key component to success. Once the surface has been cleaned and prepared, Practice on a small area in order to get your technique down tight! The average coverage is as follows
- 1 litre (1.05 quart) = Approximately 20 square feet
- 4 litre (1.05 gallon) = Approximately 80 square feet
These are approximate measurements as the application process is up to you. As KiwiGrip is well rounded and able to be applied to varying surfaces, you might want to think of this application on your boat, or around your pool area. Are you nervous about the young and elderly around your outside/inside space? KiwiGrip is ideal for creating that little bit of protection and looks great once applied. Another great feature is that you can tint the paint and create whatever colour suits your needs - Simply mix the white version. Standard colours are WHITE, CREAM, SOFT GREY and now BLUE.
KiwiGrip is a gel that gets its texture from the provided KiwiGrip roller sleeve. The texture of your result depends on two things: your technique in applying it, and the conditions in which you apply it. If you apply it quickly in warm, arid conditions, there is little time for gravity to affect its texture; therefore, you will get tall peaks with deep valleys. If you apply it slowly and carefully in cool weather, you will get rounded peaks with thicker flooring. Which texture works best for you is up to you!
